Walk with Ease - Developed by the Arthritis Foundation as a resource to enable community educators to form walking groups with two paramount goals: safety and success. The program is designed to be used with groups of any kind and people without arthritis can enjoy the program as well.
Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program - This program offered by trained Extension educators has benefited participants by reducing pain, improved outlook, decreased depression, increased confidence in one's ability to exercise, increased flexibility and range of motion, increase energy, better more relaxed sleep and decrease in doctor and emergency room visits.
Tai Chi - An Arthritis Foundation program offered by trained Extension educators to increase the quality of life of persons affected by arthritis through physical activity. The program has demonstrated benefits of decrease pain and stiffness in joints, improved daily physical functioning, improved balance, improved abdominal muscle strength, and increase confidence in one's ability to exercise.
